[iBall Slide i701] - Auto Rotation Fix for Windows 10 upgrade

I recently purchased iBall Slide i701 Tablet.  It came with Original Windows 8.1 Single Language pre-installed in it.

[iBall Slide i701] - Auto Rotation Fix for Windows 10 upgrade

I upgraded it to Windows 10.
Most of  the users who upgrade their Tablet from Windows 8.1  to Windows  10 are facing following Problems.

[iBall Slide i701] - Auto Rotation Fix for Windows 10 upgrade

PROBLEMS:
  1. Auto Rotation Option is missing.
    *Missing means completely missing. (Not available in Control Panel, Notification Area, Display Setting, etc.)

    No need to worry, It is just a problem of drivers.
  2. But, Installing Drivers doesn't solve the problem,

    After Installing drivers, Auto Rotation option is visible in Control Panel, Notification Area, Display Setting, etc. and It is Working also but not calibrated as per the sensor position in your Tablet.

    (In easy word, your screen will be upside down or odd auto rotation will occur)
    ( Portrait for Landscape and vice-versa.)
  3. You have to make some little changes in Windows registry (regedit.exe) to re-calibrate it.
    But again, No need to worry,  Just run the regFix file given in the attachment and this will callibrate the Auto-Rotation of your tablet.

SOLUTIONS:

Please follow each and every step carefully:

  1. Download the "[Working] AutoRotation Driver and RegFix - APDaga.rar" file from below link:

    *********************************************************************************
    https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B5sp6lHFChXeX1dSdDNRTjlrNnM

    *********************************************************************************

  2. Extract the rar file using winrar
  3. Go to Device Manager and right click on sensors drivers and uninstall all the drivers related to Auto Rotation Sensor / Accelerometer. (check on Delete drivers when prompt pops up)
    1. [Right click] This PC > Manage > Device Manager > Sensor > [Right Click] Kionix KX****** > Uninstall > [Check] Delete the driver software for this device > OK
    2. [Right click] This PC > Manage > Device Manager > Sensors > [Right Click] Kionix KX****** > Uninstall > [Check] Delete the driver software for this device > OK
    3. [Right click] This PC > Manage > Device Manager > Sensors > [Right Click] Sdo Sensor*****  > Uninstall > [Check] Delete the driver software for this device > OK

      * These  above step may vary tablet to tablet.
       (Uninstall all the Accelerometer related drivers)
  4. Install "kxaccel-1.0.28.3-win8.1-x86-signed-autosfx.exe".

  5. Restart the Tablet.
  6. After successful installation of above driver, RUN "Signed Driver RegFix-APDaga.reg" to enroll sensor Orientation into registry.
  7. Restart the Tablet.

Dhan Tadannnnnn...   Auto Rotation is fixed on your iBall Slide i701 (with Windows 10 installed in it)

*If this doesn't work properly, then edit "Signed Driver RegFix-APDaga.reg"
You will see this:
**********************************************************************************
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\ROOT\SENSOR\0000\Device Parameters\kxfusion]
"ACPI\\SMO8500\\1-0"="{ADBB319D-1B6D-4A72-BD3C-D07B8293C434}"
"Orientation"=hex:01,00,00,01,01,00,02
**********************************************************************************

Now change following line:
**********************************************************************************
"Orientation"=hex:01,00,00,01,01,00,02
**********************************************************************************

to

**********************************************************************************
"Orientation"=hex:01,01,00,00,01,01,02
**********************************************************************************
or
**********************************************************************************
"Orientation"=hex:01,00,00,01,01,00,02
**********************************************************************************

>>Try replacing  00 and 01 , till Auto Rotate gets calibrated properly as per requirement.

    2. You can try one thing.
      Make recovery USB drive and after that delete the recovery drive from tablet. That will increase you c drive memory by approx 3 to 3.5 GB.

  3. Right now my tablet is in iBall service center from last 4 weeks. I gave it to service center just to downgrade the OS from Windows 10 to Windows 8.1 (default). But this simple thing is taking so long time.
    Actually after downgrading the OS to 8.1 (at service center) , it is showing following msg:
    "Windows is not activated".
    I am not sure how long they are going take more to solve this problem.
    I will keep updating here...

  5. First of all Sorry for the late delay in support/reply.
    Start > calibrate the screen for pen or touch input > calibrate

    Then touch with your index fingure on the asked points on the screen. (first 16 points & then 4 points)

    If this doesn't solve your problem,
    Start > calibrate the screen for pen or touch input > Reset.
    And calibrate again.

    You need to try these steps again and again till you get satisfied results.

    That's the only way I can think of right now.
