Disclaimer:

  • Our handwriting is a reflection of our personality at the moment. Your handwriting doesn't speak about your future. So, don't expect that you will be doing future predictions using handwriting analysis.

  • You can know the present state of your mind with handwriting analysis and improve it or make it better with practice and hard work in the proper direction.

  • Any trait does not indicate anything white or black in your personality. Everyone is unique and their personality is made up of a combination of multiple traits.

  • and the most important thing to remember is "A person's personality changes over the period." If you see something negative in someone's personality that doesn't mean that's permanent."

The amount of pressure a writer exerts on a sheet of paper while writing is one of the most important variables you need to take into account when you are analyzing a handwriting sample.

If you don’t get the handwriting pressure right, your analysis could be incomplete or downright wrong.

That is why it is important for you to correctly determine the handwriting pressure because it will help you correctly understand the intensity of any emotion the writer feels.

For example, if the handwriting has resentment strokes, the manifestation of that resentment will be more evident in someone who writes with heavy pressure than the one who writes with light pressure.

Now, let’s learn how to measure handwriting pressure.

What handwriting pressure reveals:

The amount of pressure in your handwriting reveals the depth of your emotions and feelings. The heavier the pressure, the more enduring the feelings, and the higher the emotional intensity.

Measuring Handwriting Pressure:

There is a simple way to measure the pen pressure exerted by a person while writing. Just pick up the paper and run your hand on the backside of the sheet.
  • If you feel the coarseness and indentations clearly, the handwriting pressure exerted by the writer is heavy.

  • If you feel nothing, it means you have got a person with low handwriting pressure.
NOTE: When you’re analyzing a sample, ask for two pages of handwriting and measure the pressure on both pages.

Based on the writer's pen pressure on the paper, people are categorized into 3 types:
  1. Heavy Pressure

  2. Medium Pressure

  3. Light Pressure

Heavy Pressure:

  • If the pressure of the handwriting is heavy, it means the writer is intense. In fact, the heavier the pressure, the more enduring the feelings, and the higher the emotional intensity.

  • A writer like this deeply feels his emotions. His feelings about anything are not fleeting; they stay with him for a long time. The harder he presses the pen on the paper, the stronger his memory is.

  • Such a writer will remember an event or a fight for a very, very long time. They may forgive, but they don’t forget.

  • The writer uses heavy pressure, pointing to a person with deep, long-lasting emotions.

    • Very deep and enduring feelings
    • may forgive but will not forget
    • feels situations intensely

Medium Pressure:

  • The feelings of a medium-pressure writer are more balanced. He has a good memory, but he does not hang on to any kinds of memories, despite remembering them.

  • If he gets angry, he will cool off faster than someone with heavy handwriting pressure. But remember, he won’t forget anything you said.

  • They do not hold on to the past unless they leave no margins on the left side of the paper.

  • According to graphologypro.com, if the pressure is even, the person is well-balanced and self-controlled, his decisions are well thought, and actions are consistent and calm.

  • The writer's pressure and size if writing is average, indicating he/she usually has enough energy to handle daily activities.

Light Pressure:

  • Endure traumatic experiences without being seriously affected.

  • Emotional experiences do not make a lasting impression.

  • According to handwriting analysis, someone with light to very light handwriting pressure does not remember things for a very long time. Even really bad ones. He can take even a traumatic event with ease.

  • Does it mean they don’t get angry at all? No, they do get angry. But they very soon forget about the reasons that made them mad. Once they forget the reasons, they cannot remain angry.

  • Unlike someone with heavy pressure in handwriting, this person with light pressure gets tired easily. He cannot sit for long hours.
